About us

Kinnected is drawn from the word kinship and connected. Kinnected is a facilitated support group for folks of the global majority. The idea of Kinnected birthed from the desire to foster relational skills for collective care within the global majority. As we exist in a world with polycrisis it more important than ever that we are strengthening our relationships to ourselves, our neighbors, and the earth that homes all living beings. We acknowledge that western therapy has its limitations and neglects building relational skills the move us toward integrated selves and community. We understand our existence is tied up in our relationship to one another. We not only understand the importance of interdependence but we actively practice it. We acknowledge and continue to build capacity to repair after rupture. This work is messy and beautiful, generative and inconvenient. It is necessary for our liberation and survival. Relationships will outlast empire.
